| Service Description: |
Provides services to help with basic needs
Material Aid - food bank providing mostly canned and dry goods, with three day supply once every two months * clothing, furniture and household items available where there is desperate need * works with other community programs to provide emergency and supplementary assistance
Christmas Hamper Program - provides food baskets (children under 12 years receive gifts and clothing) * identification (ID) required (e.g. Ontario Health Insurance Program (OHIP) Card and Ontario Works drug/dental stub, and birth certificates) and proof of address * people who are employed should bring pay stubs, support payments, etc. as proof of income
