Service Description: Children's mental health resource centre * specialized diagnostic assessment, consultation, education, research and short-term treatment services for children and youth with complex emotional and behavioural disorders who require a clinical, specialized approach including children and youth with a development disability, psychiatric, behavioural disorder or autism * educational resources for children, youth and their parents

Attachment Consultation and Education Service (ACES) - Consultation, assessment, treatment and education for children and youth with a focus on disturbance of attachment, attachment disorders, or a history of traumatic and/or disruptive life events

Autism Spectrum Disorders - Provides assessment, treatment, consultation, education and support for children and youth with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, their families, caregivers and the community

Brake Shop Clinic - Specialized assessment, treatment, consultation and community education for children with tourette syndrome and associated conditions

Dual Diagnosis - Assessment, consultation and treatment for children with an Intellectual Disability in addition to psychiatric/severe behaviour disorder * provides interdisciplinary services at a tertiary level (eg, when local community resources have been exhausted).

Home Visiting Program for Infants - Early intervention program for infants and their families who are at risk of or have developmental or physical disabilities

Homeshare - Specialized placement program in which children and youth who have a developmental disability, medical fragility/technological dependence and/or dual diagnosis, are placed with families on a full-time and long-term basis

IDEAS Team - Assessment, treatment and consultation for children and youth with a developmental disability and an emotional disorder

Mood Disorders Clinic - Consultation, assessment, treatment and education services for children and youth who are referred by a doctor and suspected of having early onset mood disorders

Residential Services - Interdisciplinary residential assessment and treatment based on the individualized needs and identified goals of children or youth with complex multiple needs

Selective Mutism Clinic - Program for children and youth, ages 4-18, who have restricted speech in one or more settings for at least three months, or at least six months if English is a second language, a demonstrated capacity for speech and intellectual ability is no lower than the mild range of developmental disability

Sexual Behaviours - Comprehensive assessment and consultation for children and youth exhibiting concerning sexual behaviours

VOCPRI Family Resource Centre - Resource centre with books, videos and information packages covering such subject areas as children and adolescents, developmental disabilities, mental health and parenting

Application: Medical referral required for psychiatric assessment * any source accepted and processed through the Intake Department * residential service placement is formalized through a Community Single Point
